Biggest Selling Artist Albums of 2013

For an independent blog post I have decided to conduct some research into most recent successful best selling albums of 2013 last year, within the indie/pop music genre I am researching into. Doing this has allowed me to develop an understanding as to what makes the artist and album covers to stand out and seductive to the target demographic of indie/pop fans.

Therefore by looking into most popular artists within my genre of 2014 so far such as Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars etc, I will be able to justify why reasons as to why I am focusing on the particular artists if they achieve being part of the biggest selling artist albums of 2014 and so a successful artists. As a result if my group do create a music video based on these aritsts within this genre, then it is likely to become a more popularised and noticeable music video product to our demographic of indie/pop music fans.
